How do you form the groups, and how will I know which group I will be in?
-
Candidly, the formation of placing members into groups is more of an “art” than “science.” Truth@Work has developed a specific 5-step process in placing new members into their groups. In cities where multiple Roundtable Groups exist, Truth@Work closely evaluates various aspects of placing members into groups.
-
As a new member, you can rest assured that the other members of your group have completed the same 5-step Qualification Process that you have, and that they are committed to the same level of participation in the program.
Who develops the content and curriculum of the meetings?
What types and sizes of companies are represented in the Roundtable Groups?
-
Members representing all sized companies and a wide variety of industries participate, ranging from sole proprietors, business owners, CEOs, Presidents, and Vice-Presidents of divisions of large multi-national companies, as well as Executive Directors in leading non-profit organizations.
-
Dozens of industries are represented, ranging from professionals (doctors, attorneys, surgeons), manufacturing, retail, financial services, transportation and distribution, etc.
I have heard the Truth@Work Business/Executive Roundtable Program is an MBA certified program-is that true?
-
This is a very unique distinctive of our program, and it speaks to the level of credibility of the materials, content, and format of the Roundtable Group Program.
If Truth@Work focuses its efforts on Christian business owners, executive, and leaders, why is it a non-profit organization rather than a for-profit business?
-
Imagine what some might be willing to pay for the ability to market programs and services to a large database of successful CEOs, Presidents, business owners and executives on a national basis? That could be worth millions of dollars.
-
So, in order to protect the integrity of the relationships with all Truth@Work members, the founders of Truth@Work determined it would be most appropriate that as founders of the organization that they would “own” nothing in it.
-
As a non-profit organization, the founders and staff of the organization cannot sell the membership base to any organization or individual, and do not have the ability to sell the organization, or any of its products, programs, and services.
If Truth@Work is a non-profit organization, why do you charge dues for members to participate?
-
Truth@Work charges a monthly “dues” fee structure in order to meet its operational costs and budgets, in order to sustain its high quality products, programs, and services.
-
It is helpful to think of the roundtable program “dues” along the lines of paying tuition for education at a Christian college or university, but in this case it is for participating in a Christ-centered, Biblically principled personal and professional development program.
-
Many ministries focus a large percentage of their time on raising funds for ongoing operational sustainability. By having a fee structure attached to its programs, Truth@Work is able to maintain focus on the personal relationships with our participating members, while allowing us to fairly compensate our staff and our local Chapter Presidents for their efforts in serving roundtable group members.
Are all members in the roundtable groups committed Christians or are some still considered “seekers”?
-
What we can say is that every participating member in our Roundtable Program has signed our Statement of Faith indicating their agreement to it and that they personally believe what it says.
-
While we are committed to encouraging and equipping our Roundtable Members to conduct outreach and ministry in and through their organizations, a big part of the “value proposition” of participating in the Roundtable Group Program is the ability for Members to receive “godly counsel” on their opportunities, challenges, and issues.
How do you identify your local Chapter Presidents?
-
We have a very thorough process to identify and train our local Chapter Presidents.
-
Contact Truth@Work for an initial qualification interview
-
Enter a period of prayer and seeking Godly counsel to confirm this is right for you (spouse, pastor, trusted advisors, Truth@Work staff and other Chapter Presidents)
