Chick Shue graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS degree and a double major in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. Chick later received a certificate of completion from Harvard University’s Program for Management Development. His 20 year career with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) saw Chick rise from Sales Trainee to Vice President of U.S. Sales and Operations as DEC grew from $110M to $14 Billion in revenues, second only to IBM at that time. Leaving Digital in 1990, Chick gained international experience as President and CEO of Matra Datavision, a U.S. subsidiary of a French owned Fortune 100 company, MATRA’, headquartered in Paris.
After returning to the domestic market as VP of the Americas for the Cray Computer Corporation, the leading manufacturer of Super Computers, Chick followed a life time dream by building and managing a waterfront restaurant in beautiful Southwest Florida from 1993 to 2004.
Chick completed his training and certification for Truth@Work in April 2007, and is focused on developing Lee and Collier counties. Chick is able to leverage his unique and strong business background to help local Christian business owners and leaders apply biblical principles for success, in life, and in business. He sees a great need from local business owners for the Christ centric curriculum, ‘one anothering’ and discipline that are integral to T@W’s Christian Roundtable Groups. With his first Roundtable Group starting in August, only 3 months out of training, Chick is repeatedly amazed by our Lord’s faithfulness. As Chick says, “I pray for inbound calls and references, and the Lord keeps sending them!” Praise God and to Him be the Glory!
Proud parents of Stephanie, Jennifer, and Gregory , and grandparents of Ava Marie (4) and Aidan (1), Chick and Colleen are both very active in their local church, Christian School, and community. Colleen is a certified Biblical counselor for Royal Palm Ministries and a member of her church’s Outreach Committee. Chick is a ruling elder for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of America (EPCA) in Cape Coral, FL and is the Treasurer and a board member for Providence Christian School. Currently, Chick co-chairs a $6.5M capital campaign for EPCA and is an active member in SWFL’s Christian Chamber of Commerce.
